3-Day Course in Phage Therapy: “Phage Therapy and Phage-Derived Proteins - A Dual Strategy Against Antimicrobial Resistance and for Diagnostic Innovations”
The George Eliava Institute of Bacteriophages, Microbiology and Virology, in collaboration with Tbilisi State Medical University, is organizing a 3-day course for physicians and scientists entitled “Phage Therapy and Phage-Derived Proteins: A Dual Strategy Against Antimicrobial Resistance and for Diagnostic Innovation.” The course is supported by the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) and will bring together both Georgian and international specialists. The course consists of two components: a theoretical part, featuring lectures by world-renowned experts, scientists, and clinicians in the field of phage research and application; and a practical part, focused on developing and standardizing methods for assessing phage susceptibility.
