On June 16–17, 2025, the 1st International Symposium on Advances in Phage Therapeutics was held at the University of Minho in Braga, Portugal, bringing together noted experts and early-career phage researchers. Dr. Mzia Kutateladze, Director of the Eliava Institute, delivered an oral presentation titled “The ELIAVA Institute: Experience and Activities”.
Additionally, scientists from the Eliava Institute actively participated by presenting posters, further underlining Georgia’s contributions to global phage therapy research and development.
